At the beginning of August, my family and I went down to Myrtle Beach, SC for vacation this year. This year it was going to be special because we had never gone down to Myrtle Beach before. Usually every summer we would spend our vacation down in Ocean City, MD. It was very exciting because we would be experiencing new people, new surroundings, new shops, and even new restaurants. We stayed down there for a week, even though I would of stayed longer if I could. Our vacation was wonderful! The ocean water was clean and warm that it almost felt like bath water. Our room was awesome and we had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. Some of the places we went to while we were down there were Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Flying Fish, Hamburger Joe's, The House of Blues and Hollywood Wax Museum. The only downside of our vacation was...the drive. It look us close to twelve hours to get down there and twelve hours to get back home. Other than that it was a wonderful vacation and I hope we get the chance to visit Myrtle Beach again!

Where ever you go on vacation, you always have to bring home a souvenir! One of the places we shop at was Broadway at the Beach. It was one of my favorite places to shop while we were down there. It had so many different things to do like shops, restaurants, carnival rides, etc. The one store I stop in at was called Flamingo Joe's. They had a bunch of stuff, but mostly t-shirts. I ended up getting three shirts that were by the same company, Simply Southern Tees. I loved the shirts that I bought, but I wish I could of bought them all! I have been wearing them a lot lately on my lazier days. They remind me of something SarahBelle93x would wear! I have been wanting a new watch for awhile now. I currently have a watch that I bought at Target sometime last year. It is nothing extraordinary. Just something cheap that I can check what time it is throughout the day. For the past few months though I noticed it was getting a little run down. I wanted to buy a new watch to switch things up a bit. My Target watch is silver and gold, but I wanted something that had a leather band rather than links. I was shopping around Kohl's one day and I came across this watch. I was instantly sold on it. It just looked so expensive and classy. I like how it has a black leather band, gold around the face, and roman numerals. This watch was around $20 so it was pretty cheap. I will defiantly be wearing this watch a lot in the future.

I have been experimenting with lip products this past month. I buy all my makeup at Wal-Mart because I feel they have a variety of selections. I have a few lip products, but my two favorites for this month are Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain and Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color. Lets start with Revlon. I recently watched one of SarahBelle93x's "favorite videos" and she mention this product. I loved it from the moment I saw it on her. So I had to see it in person. They had a few colors to choose from. The one I ended up choosing was the one Sarah had, 015 Barcelona Nights. It is sort of a bright, raspberry pink. I love it. It just adds so much color to your lips! The Wet n Wild lip product color is called 929A Rose To The Occasion. This is more of a darker pink. The best part about this product is that this is a stain and it stays on your lips all day long! (Some of pictures don't show the color of the lip products too well.)

One of the highlights of my summer and probably my whole life was seeing Jesse McCartney perform live! It was my first major concert ever! It was a double bonus because I got to see him perform while we were down in Myrtle Beach, SC. I so excited when I saw him come out on that stage. I was singing along to every song. He performed songs from his new album, In Technicolor, and also performed some of his old songs like Leavin', How Do You Sleep? and Beautiful Soul. At some points during the concert it looked like he was either staring or singing right to me! I had a smile on my face the whole night! I hope I get the chance to see him perform live again because he has incredible talent. Love you Jesse! Forever a fan!

My last favorite for August is an app called Afterlight. I have had this app for a few months now and I use it a lot when editing pictures for Instagram, Facebook or this blog. You can do so much on this app. You can adjust the brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, sharpness and so much more to a picture. I have a lot of photo editing apps and this is probably my favorite one.
