My Style

Over the last few years and months, my wardrobe has changed quite a bit. In my early high school days I would wear printed t-shirts from Hollister or American Eagle Outfitters, limited jewelry, and probably didn't think twice about what my hair looked like before I stepped out the door.

However, that is different today. Just this past year I started getting into fashion and style. I guess I have to thank the creators of Instagram and Pinterest because those two apps are addicting and I can spend hours on both of them! I love looking a different peoples' Instagram photos of their latest #OOTD or what they recently purchased on their day of shopping. I have to admit, I get a lot of my outfit ideas from Instagram. I enjoy sharing my photos on Instagram as well. I like posting the recent items I bought so that way other people can get outfit ideas too! Pinterest is also another one of my favorites! I enjoy looking at the "Women's Fashion" category. There are probably thousands of photos on Pinterest that I still have yet to see. I don't just look at fashion pictures on Pinterest, I also enjoy looking at the "Home Décor" and "DIY and Crafts" categories. I get so many ideas of what I want my future house to look like.

I also have to thank SarahBelle93x! Late last year I came across her YouTube channel. I became so addicted watching her videos. I love her style! Every time she has a new video up, I immediately have to watch it right there and then. She is someone who makes classic pieces fun and trendy! She also got me hooked on statement jewelry. Before, I only wore delicate necklaces. Now, I might have almost ten statement necklaces! When she isn't making videos, she uploads photos to her Instagram; @sarahbelle93x. Thank you Sarah for your fashion sense and advice!  https://www.youtube.com/user/sarahbelle93x

I also look up to Lauren Conrad's style. She is another person who takes simple pieces of clothing and puts them together to create an outfit. I also love her collection at Kohl's; LC Lauren Conrad. http://www.kohls.com/feature/lclaurenconrad.jsp

Today, I would consider my style preppy and classic. I like wearing simple pieces like a nice button up oxford shirt or a black blazer and dressing it up with some accessories. I try to dress stylist, but also comfortable. There are times though that I do dress down. Mostly it is when I am at home  or sometimes when I am going to class and don't feel like dressing up that day.

I know that my wardrobe will probably change in the future, but that is the exciting part! Fashion is always changing and coming out with new trends daily. I can't wait to see where my style goes in the future!
